first impression is not always right
(Ferndale, Michigan United States) November 29, 2004 - 4.0/5 stars

My first impression was that the book is way too simple and does not really match a graduate level. However, when I started studying I found this simpleness wonderful.

It only takes me like 20 to 40 minutes to get through a chapter and afterwards I basically can solve all the problems at the chapter end. This is somewhat good. For deeper knowledge I simply read another book, but usually this is not necessary since both of my professors that used this book in class did not require anything more...

Congratulations on this book. It is really relaxing to finally have found someone being able to descibe the financial matters in simple, understandable terms.

Ideal for studying puposes.

I still find that there could be more real world examples and that the authors could have entered the subjects a lot deeper in order to create a real interesting finance book, but however, I totally learned to enjoy the simplicity of this book.
