Sink as much as possible into an IRA or 401(k( plan, The most important part of accumulating wealth is getting a high rate of return. In this book Douglas R. Andrew presents an explosive and contrarian book that openly challenges the most basic and fundamental tenets of personal investing. Unlike any other monty guide available he explains how people can really accumulate and preserve wealth by turning conventional wisdom on its head. The approach he follows is to use debt wisely and to invest in ways that the money you have borrowed will return more than you pay to get it. In a lot of times, in a lot of economies this works quite well. In 1929 it didn't. It's well worth reading this book for the understanding that Mr. Andrew brings to financial management. It's up to you do made your own decisions as to the route to follow.
