It will get you thinking
(Austin, TX USA) June 18, 2005 - 5.0/5 stars

This book is the type that may change the way you think about things. Financial things, specifically. I like books that change who I am, so I valued this book very highly.

I guess the book could be summed up by asking if you want to work for The Man forever, or do you want to escape that neverending trap.

The author gives many specific strategies that put you on the path to financial freedom. I did not have any accounting background upon reading this book, but I now do and I realize the book would have been more beneficial if I had accounting knowledge back then.

So, if you're able to learn some about accounting before reading it, I think it will be more meaningful to you. Finance knowledge would help too I'm sure.

The author seems like a nice guy who genuinely wants to help.

Take this book to heart and you should have a new outlook after completing it.

Addendum: ok so it's been a long time since I read this book, sorry if the review is vague and bad. I will read the book again sometime, it's a keeper.

The powerful message in this book is: financial wealth is in the bank not in your garage or on your wrist. Those achieve financial success, and with it peace of mind, are great savers. Displays of wealth merely deplete your bank account.
