I believe that this book is a great read for anyone looking to get some background and some ideas about personal finance.

As a young "professional" I have worried about falling into the rat race but until I read this book I never knew how to avoid it. I grew up in an educated family with the typical goals as presented in the book, get good grades, get a good job, work forever.

Now I can start thinking about things in terms of the income sheet vs. balance statement and making money work for me instead of working for money.

The ideas presented in this book make sense and I appreciate the fact that he gives hope to those of use that aren't starting out with a large inheritance.

But, at the same time, he reiterates the point throughout that not everyone has the ability or the will to put in the effort necessary to get out of the rat race.

This book has inspired me to read more and especially LEARN more about personal finances, real estate, and investing.
