But I don't want to take any risk so I decided to sell to the miners. I decided to finance the people wanting to be real estate investors. And this book exposed the industry. Want to learn how a mortgage broker makes money? Read this book. Want to learn how to save money on a mortgage? Read this book. This book starts with the basics. And if you don't know them, it can be very very confusing. But it also goes over how to get into the business with only a little money and no risk. The author actually recomends that you start out part-time untel you are making enough. This author talks about the good and the bad about this business. So if you can't stand the truth and only want to be told how many millions you can make, stay away. If you are looking for an honest account of what it is like to be a mortgage broker or loan officer, read on. Based on the suggestions in this book, I got my license very quickly and started out part-time. In fact, I don't think I will ever go full-time. I like my other job too much and this is a great side income. Especially until the real estate bubble bursts.
