Crestview Technologies is Danielle Zhu's second shot at starting a business, and it's proving to be the charm.

The Novi-based firm started two years ago as an IT consulting gig.

Today it has grown to a full-fledged business with four employees and a satellite office. The company now focuses on bridging the language barrier for firms investing in China.

It creates web applications and is working on internal social media networks for companies that will create communication efficiencies.
