Gas prices have risen for 50 days in a row and the pain at the pump is taking a toll on household budgets across the nation.

Troy-based VPSI is probably the only transportation company that doesn't mind rising gas prices. The van-pooling firm has been taking off this year, adding 500 new van pools and expects to grow more this year.
